PADI Open Water Diver Course

The PADI Open Water Diver qualification teaches you the foundation knowledge and skills you need to dive with a buddy, independent of supervision, to a maximum depth of 18m for age 15 and over and a maximum depth of 12m for ages 10-14 years.

This course differs from the PADI Scuba Diver Course in that you are certified to dive with a buddy, and not specifically with an instructor or divemaster.

It is typically run over 2 weekends or 4 days and includes 5 confined water dives (sheltered sea or the pool in Winter), 4 Open Water dives and 5 knowledge development sessions.

The PADI Open Water Diver Course costs Euro 595, which includes all tuition, materials, dives, certification and equipment (including wetsuit).
