The PADI Scuba Diver course teaches you the foundation knowledge and skills which will allow you to dive with a Divemaster, Assistant Instructor or Instructor to a maximum depth of 12m. It is suitable for anyone from age 10 and up.

It is not necessary to take the PADI Scuba Diver Course before the PADI Open Water Course, you can start straight away on either course. If you chose to do the PADI Scuba Diver Course, you can upgrade to the Open Water course at any time.

The reason people opt for the PADI Scuba Diver course is usually because:

• They prefer to start on this course and upgrade to Open Water at any time
• They only ever want to dive with an instructor or divemaster
• They do not feel confident enough to dive unsupervised with a buddy
• They prefer to remain at shallower depths

This course usually takes 2-3 days and includes 3 confined (shallow water) dives, 2 Open Water dives and 3 knowledge development sessions.

The PADI Scuba Diver Course costs Euro 350 which includes all tuition, materials, dives, certification and equipment (including wetsuit).
