PADI Summer Aqua Camp Younger Divers and Snorkelers

Burren Adventures are delighted to announce the introduction of their Aqua Summer camp in Ballyvaughan, Co Clare. This exciting programme will be run over a five day period starting each Monday through to Friday from 10.00 – 4.00.

It includes the following:

Project AWARE: Consists of a fun environmental programme providing a thorough and in depth overview of our aquatic environment, effects of pollution, extraordinary life and how we can each play a role in preserving our environment.

Snorkelling and Skin Diving: A fun and action filled certification course which introduces people to the world of skin diving and water fitness. This course will teach correct skin diving techniques, safety in the water, rescue techniques using snorkelling equipment, snorkel breath holding and underwater games.

Discover Scuba Diving: This consists of a single Scuba Dive in the sea under close supervision with an experienced instructor or divemaster. This is an exhilarating experience and anyone as young as 10 may participate with parental approval. This experience will be something special to remember!

Programme Logistics: Takes place at our Dive Centre in Ballyvaughan daily Bring towel and swim wear and snorkelling wetsuit (snorkelling and diving equipment provided) and bring packed lunch. Bus transport to and from Gleninagh provided

Course Cost • 295 Euro per person • Limited to 12 people per course. • Deposit of 100 Euro per person to guarantee each place • 10% reduction for second or subsequent children from one family

Summer camps 2008 are running during:

June 23-27 for ages 13-17

July 7-11 for ages 10-13

July 21-25 for all ages

Aug 11-15 for all ages

Note: For all diving activities, certain medical conditions may require you to have authorisation from your doctor. If you tick yes to any of the items on the medical form, you must get authorisation to dive before you come. If unsure, read and/or download PADI medical statement .
